The Chemainus Murals - Julia Askew

In 2010 we visited Chemainus, BC. There were 39 murals (maybe more now) painted on the walls of buildings which depict historic events or people from the town. We were toured around the town by none other than Julia Askew herself - although I did have my doubts as apparently Julia was born in 1871 and died in 1942. So she was either an imposter or a professional actress. Anyway here are only a few snippets of the tour showing some of the murals and some of the dialogue as we enjoyed Chemainus, BC
