Ivan Siller is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist from Slovakia. Ivan has received numberous awards in Europe and the USA, both as a soloist and chamber musician. He is especially interested in 20th century music, in particular the music of American composer Charles Ives. In addition to his active career as a concert pianist and chamber musician, Ivan is the initiator and organizer of several projects including "Music of the Last Century," and interactive program for children and "Festival SPACE," an international chamber music festival in the form of concert cycles. Both of these projects are designed to present 20th century music in a unique and interesting manner. Mr Siller and his wife, Lenka, are also involved in creative workshops for children and youth. Lenka is also a musician and her doctorate is on the influence of rock and roll on the contemporary music of Europe.
